Exit 10 is a cute little restaurant located smack dab between the recreation hall and the swimming pool at the Lazydays campground. What makes it unique is the decor, it looks like an RV! Not just a little RV mind you, but one of those big fancy diesel ones. The inside is cute with guard-rails, slide-outs and all sorts of RV references. Kids love the cock-pit area where they can see out of the huge panoramic windshield.
Today I questioned a couple patrons: One said the Tuna Wrap with Coleslaw on the side is great. Another couple interjected that any sandwich can be made on a wrap and it’s all good. They had the Brushetta Chicken today which Ms. judged as “good” and Mr. said his favorite which is not on the menu anymore, Habanero Shrimp is the best and they will make it for him if they can. So, the fact that they will try to please customers is a good sign for me. It has a very nice atmosphere and feels very vacation, holiday-like, probably because people are coming to the side window from the pool picking up their cocktails to go, reminded me of my Hawaii vacation with the maitai’s at the Cabana!
Today we ordered three items from Exit 10. The Turkey Rueben Sandwich, Jumbo Crab Cake Sandwich and the Roast Beef Panini.
